APPRENTICESHIPSUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity to join Castle View Nursery as an Early Years Practitioner Apprentice. You will provide high quality care and education, for all children attending the setting. Observing, monitoring and assessing both individuals and groups of children within the nursery.
- Assisting the experienced nursery practitioners, shadowing them and learning the daily routines.
- Getting children ready for activities and involving them in the activity, meal-times, trips out of the setting and outdoor play.
- Helping with childrens personal care, i.e. assist with toileting, nappy changes.
- Feeding times, supporting independence!
- Helping to create a safe, warm and happy environment for children to thrive in.
- Understanding and providing consistency of care and activities for the children
- Observing, monitoring and assessing both individual and groups of children within the nursery’s key person system.
- Understanding child protection issues and follow the Safeguarding Policy.

We are a small family run nursery looking after children and babies up to age 5. We supply uniform - fleece/tabard, black trousers and comfy footwear. Adequate Outdoor clothes, each apprentice assigned a mentor, four-month probation period! Full training and support given! Commitment to training! Wages paid monthly. DBS and safeguarding training provided.
