APPRENTICESHIPSUMMARY

Worthington Primary School prioritises PE to foster lifelong health and fitness among students. We offer diverse PE programs to enhance skills and promote teamwork, self-esteem, and a positive attitude. Students annually take part in tournaments such as Area Athletics Meeting and Tag Rugby while also using the local sports clubs and swimming baths.

  • Planning and Teaching PE lessons from EYFS to Year 6
  • Support and encourage children during lunchtime sports sessions such as Football
  • Possible support and encouragement during after school clubs
  • Support and assisting sports tournaments outside of school
  • Helping to raise the profile of PE across the school
  • Working closely with the PE coordinator

Things to consider

You will be employed to work with children full time in a school as a member of staff, not a student. Any offer of Apprenticeship will be subject to a full DBS and Satisfactory References Additional training to take place at Loughborough College every other Wednesday to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours in accordance to this apprenticeship.
