This course is designed for learners looking to start a career in the Electrical Installation industry.

If you enjoy practical work and have an eye for detail, electrical installation could be a great career for you. Electricians install and maintain the equipment needed for the safe and efficient use of electricity, including fitting and repairing electrical circuits and wiring. The Level 3 programme builds on the skills, knowlege and behaviours gained at Level 2.

Understanding the principles, practices and legislation for diagnosing and correcting electrical faults in electrotechnical systems and equipment in buildings, structures and the environment

Electrical Science and Principles

Understand the Requirements of Electrical Installations

Entry Requirements

Level 2 Electrical Installation AND GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above

Progression

Inspection and Testing, Portable Appliance Testing, Electrical Engineering HNC/HND, Apprenticeships, and higher education.
