Loughborough College has joined with educators from six nations to share its ambitious vision as part of a special project led by the British Council.

Gemma Knott, Director of Business Development at the College, has been meeting in Amman, Jordan with representatives from countries including Indonesia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, South Africa and Pakistan to share expertise for “Bringing The Learning Home”.

Loughborough College launched an International Skills Partnership with three colleges in Vietnam earlier this year and has gathered with the group, which have successfully participated in the British Council-funded initiative in their own countries, to talk about successful ways to help students boost their employability.

Gemma said; "Loughborough College is ambitious in helping other institutions and their students become the employees and employers of the future and, as part of our vision to promote the College and its regional economy as open to learners from across the globe, I have travelled to Amman to meet with peers and engage with new stakeholders to reinforce that message.

“It is fantastic to see the British Council playing a pivotal role in helping to bring colleges and institutions together to exchange knowledge through these funded projects - which are clearly having an impact for the students they serve."
