The 2019 Loughborough College Big Employability Fair has proved a big success - with hundreds of young people meeting local businesses and services on the lookout for new talent.
More than 30 companies and organisations gathered in the College’s Arts Theatre to offer students full and part-time roles, apprenticeships, work placements, graduate and volunteering opportunities. There was also the chance to access expert advice on polishing up your CV, applying for vacancies and improving your interview technique.
“The event was packed and there were a host of live opportunities for taking those all-important next career steps, with the chance to be face to face with the employers and services offering them,” said Paula Allerton, Head of Employer Engagement and Sales at Loughborough College.
“We are working closely with employers locally and in the region to develop a College curriculum which meets their talent needs and they felt this was really helpful in continuing to build on those valuable connections.”
